Our stay at Magpie Cottage was incredible value for money. The room was not only comfortable and spacious, but also had a lovely cottage feel to it. The location was superb, with shops, pubs, and the stunning Northumberland National Park just a stone's throw away. The staff were accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed.
The breakfast could have been better with more options available.

We had a blast exploring the area on our bikes and checking out the cool biking trails. The cottage was the bomb, with a super cosy vibe and all the stuff we needed. It was like our own little party pad. The location was wicked too, right in the heart of town with easy access to shops and pubs. We'll definitely be coming back for more adventures!
If there was one thing we could change about our stay, it would be to have a rocking sound system in the cottage. We had a great time, but some banging tunes would have taken the party to the next level.

During my recent stay at a lovely cottage in a great location, I had a wonderful time exploring the area. The cottage was well-equipped and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I particularly enjoyed the convenience of being close to shops, takeaways, and pubs. The information provided was helpful in planning my daily activities and the various walks starting right from the cottage door were a bonus. The cottage itself felt like a home away from home, with its spaciousness and homely atmosphere. It was also a pleasant surprise to have a bath available. Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of an extractor fan in the bathroom and dimly lit rooms, these did not significantly affect my overall experience. I would definitely recommend this cottage to others looking for a peaceful and well-equipped accommodation in this beautiful area. I had a fantastic stay and would love to return in the future.

Well-equipped cottage with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Convenient location for exploring the area and accessing shops.- Easy parking.
No extractor fan in the bathroom, making it difficult to ventilate. No central heating timer, resulting in a cold house if left off.
